About the event Scientific ComMittee Topics Registration Poster Speakers Program

About The Event

The Center for Advanced Studies in Cosmology (CEAC), hosted at the Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF), proposes the organization of an International Conference on Cosmology to be held in September 2026, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The event will address fundamental problems and recent advances in theoretical and observational cosmology, with emphasis on gravitation, quantum field theory in curved spacetimes and the physics of the early and late Universe.

The conference will provide a high-level scientific forum for the exchange of ideas between internationally recognized researchers and the Brazilian scientific community, including graduate students and early-career scientists based in Rio de Janeiro.

Following the workshop, participants will engage in a week of collaborative activities to further develop the topics discussed during the event.

The scientific program will be supervised by a Scientific Committee composed of internationally recognized experts.

Scientific Committee

This committee will be responsible for defining the conference scope, selecting invited speakers, and evaluating contributed presentations.
The primary objective of the conference is to stimulate discussion on foundational and emerging topics in cosmology, strengthening the interaction between different theoretical frameworks and observational results.
